Below is a list outdoorsy things to do in no particular order. Suggestions welcome in the comments below.
The day of the Missouri Whitewater Association Races brought out some beautiful sunlight and (nearly) perfect spring temperatures for paddling. Glen and I drove down to The Saint Francis River and met John and Tom at their campsite before we headed to the put-in.
On race day and the weekend of the clinic the Saint parking lots are a bit over-burdened, so after a bit of a hike with our kayaks we made it down to the water. After navigating through the race course and doing our best not to disturb anyone or get in the way while simultaneously getting barraged with flash photography, we set off.
I just wanted to get a few more pictures up on the blog from past adventures from the time before I started trying to document them.
More after the bump.
My mission for myself and the blog this year are very simple, MORE and BETTER! Please read on for a bit more detail...
The Tellico River is my absolute favorite river that I have ever paddled. It is steep, narrow, fun, challenging, not fear inducing, and sits in the one of the most beautiful gorges I have ever been to in Tenessee. This particular trip took place a few years ago so I may not be as exact with the details, but the pictures speak for themselves.
